    Permit To Install (PTI) Information

    The Logan County Sewer District owns and operates public sanitary sewer systems through out the County. Commercial, Industrial, and business operations that plan to construct a wastewater collection, conveyance, storage, treatment, or disposal facility must apply for and receive a wastewater permit-to-install (PTI) through the Ohio EPA.


    Customers desiring to perform a sanitary sewer project should consider the following:


    1.) Review the Permit-to-Install Fact Sheet to determine applicability, click here.


    2.) Questions regarding the applicability of the PTI requirement should be directed to the Ohio EPA at (614) 644-2001.


    3.) If a PTI is required, the Logan County Sewer District will need to provide a letter of acceptance which will be included in the PTI submittal to the Ohio EPA.

    a. PLEASE NOTE–A letter of acceptance will only be issued once the Logan County SewerDistrict performs a site plan review and ensures the construction standards and design criteria are followed.

    Customers completing the Ohio EPA’s permit-to-install application will need the Publicly OwnedTreatment Works (POTW)wastewater treatment plant information.
